The video-meeting of National Television and Radio Council was held.

At the meeting, the results of the monitoring of nationwide television channels on July 20-31, 2020 were examined.

The requirements of the Article 35.7 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Television and Radio Broadcasting" were violated by broadcasting 20 minutes and 48 seconds of advertisements on "Space" TV channel within the period between 07.00 pm to 08.00 pm. on July 23, 2020. Guided by the Article 23.1 of the Law, the Council has adopted a decision to suspend the broadcasting of "Space" TV channel on August 10, 2020 for a period of 3 hours (from 08:00 am to 11:00 am).
