The regular meeting of National Television and Radio Council was held on 19 May 2016.

At the meeting the issue of allocation of financial assistance to broadcasters in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan by 12 May 2016 on providing one-time financial aid to private broadcasters in the Republic of Azerbaijan was discussed.

It is decided to allocate 2 million manats, which provided from reserve fund of the President in state budget to NTRC, between private broadcasters (ATV, Khazar TV, ANS TV, Space TV, Lider TV and Region TV) on equal basis.
