A meeting was held at the DOST Agency on the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities

The DOST Agency held the meeting with the responsible persons of the relevant structures in the field of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities. The event was attended by members of the State Commission for Monitoring the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and representatives of non-governmental organizations. At the meeting, the Audiovisual Council was represented by the Aykhan Sadigly, chief adviser of the Law and International Cooperation Department. 

During the meeting, the topic of "Accessibility of information" was discussed and opinions were exchanged on issues such as the provision of sign language in television programs, improving access to information for persons with disabilities and other related areas.
